Being water offerings, Tarpan are all about flow and cleansing, and Ganesha is a force which removes obstacles, so the Ganesha Tarpan is especially powerful as a way of washing away whatever obscures our ability to be present, stable and balanced. Tarpan practices also establish our mind in a state of equanimity and happiness.
