Gopal Venkataraman is the Chief Sound Engineer of Zen Sounds, and is a renowned devotional music composer and singer. Ven, as he is commonly known, has been performing and composing for the Vidyanjali Orchestra since 1992.
Gopal, one of the winning singers on the Indian TV show, Sapta Swarangal, spent the past 14 years as lead singer for the North American Hindi Film Band, Ishara, which has brought
Bollywood and related film songs to life on stage across the US for more than 18 years.

This day is considered auspicious for Shani Puja. People are blessed with peace and prosperity. People who are suffering from the adverse effects of Shani in their birth chart and the people who are undergoing the period of Sade Sati of Shani, Ardhastama Shani, Ashtama Sani or its antar dasa, are suggested to perform the Puja on this day to please Lord Shani.

Holika Dahan is a Hindu festival that takes place on the Full Moon Night of the Phalguna month. Holi celebrates the arrival of spring, the end of winter. The festival also celebrates the beginning of a good spring harvest season. On the eve of Holi, typically at or after sunset, the pyre is lit. The ritual symbolises the victory of good over evil.

Attukaal Pongala Festival

'Pongala' is the most important festival of Attukal Bhagavathy or Shakti in Kerala. The offering of Pongala is a very special temple practice in the southern part of the State.
Hindu and Jain Temple of Las Vegas is proud to host the festival in 2023. We ask the community, Malayalee or no, to join us and celebrate Devi/Bhagavati/Durga-Lakshmi-Saraswati in each of us!

AshokJi Wadhwa is disciple of Prof. Chaman Lal Kapur. (Yog Sadhan Ashram Hoshiarpur, Punjab India) . AshokJi teaching yoga for more than 40 years.
He started Yoga class in the temple on Nov 7th 2021, and it is conducted every Sunday since then. Hánnah Jay is another Yoga teacher who conducts the classes and she help AshokJi as his backup.

Panditji Brijesh and Panditji Vishnu conduct this class. Both explains the Sanskrit sholakas.
Pandit BrijeshJi joined January 2012 from Ahmadabad, Gujarat. Pandit VishnuJi joined in August 2016 from Karnataka, South India.
Sanskar Class is on Sunday at 11:00 AM.

This session is started on January 3rd 2022 and it is conducted online on every Monday from 7:30 PM to 8:15 PM.
